About The All-American Rejects

The All-American Rejects are an American rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999. Comprising lead vocalist and bassist Tyson Ritter, guitarists Nick Wheeler and Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor, the band has gained significant recognition for their energetic performances and catchy pop-rock sound. With a career spanning over two decades, The All-American Rejects have released four studio albums, numerous hit singles, and have toured extensively across the globe. Their music is characterized by infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and a blend of alternative rock and power pop influences. The band's self-titled debut album, released in 2002, propelled them into the mainstream with the hit singles "Swing, Swing" and "The Last Song." The album showcased their ability to craft anthemic choruses and relatable lyrics, resonating with a wide audience. Their sophomore effort, "Move Along" (2005), solidified their success with chart-topping singles like "Dirty Little Secret" and the title track. In 2008, The All-American Rejects released "When the World Comes Down," featuring the smash hit "Gives You Hell." The song became their highest-charting single to date, reaching the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album showcased a more mature sound, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and personal growth. After a brief hiatus, the band returned in 2012 with their fourth studio album, "Kids in the Street." This release showcased their evolution as musicians, experimenting with different musical styles while maintaining their signature sound. The album received critical acclaim and further solidified their status as a prominent rock band.
