About Negative Approach
Negative Approach, a pioneering force in the hardcore punk scene, has been captivating their fans since the early 1980s. Originating from Detroit, Michigan, their music is characterized by raw energy, aggressive lyrics, and fast-paced rhythms. The band's original lineup consisted of John Brannon, OP Moore, Rob McCulloch, and Graham McCulloch. Despite their initial short-lived career, Negative Approach's influence on the hardcore punk genre is undeniable. Their self-titled debut EP and the subsequent album "Tied Down" are considered genre-defining classics. After a long hiatus, the band reformed in 2006, much to the delight of their fans. Their live performances are known for their intensity and authenticity, making them a must-see act at music festivals. Negative Approach continues to inspire a new generation of punk bands with their uncompromising sound and attitude.
