Monique Hasbun is on the brink of global superstardom with her signature genre-defying music style. Nicknamed The Shakira of Phoenix early in her career, she was selected to perform on Netflix's La Firma (The Signing in English), the thrilling Latin music competition series for artists hoping to land a recording contract. She impressed reggaeton stars Rauw Alejandro, Nicki Nicole, Yandel and Tainy, the series judges and mentors. Her musical journey began at age 12 when she taught herself to play guitar, eventually becoming one of Arizona's leading Latin pop singer-songwriters. Coming from a Latin and Middle Eastern background, Monique has always aimed to infuse her cultural heritage into her music. Gaining international recognition, particularly in Latin America, she beautifully blends Latin, Middle Eastern and American influences, creating songs in both English and Spanish.
