He was the first African American to be featured on the cover of the Hollywood Reporters Most Powerful Stylists issue. He is the co-host of E!s eccentric new fashion competition series OMG Fashun and was a judge on hit TV shows such as RuPauls Drag Race. In April 2022, he was named the West Coast contributing editor of British Vogue.
