About Gus Dapperton

Gus Dapperton, born Brendan Rice, is an American singer-songwriter and producer known for his unique blend of indie pop and dream pop. His music is characterized by its nostalgic feel, often drawing comparisons to the sounds of the 80s and 90s. Dapperton's distinct style, both musically and visually, has garnered him a dedicated fan base that spans across the globe. Born and raised in Warwick, New York, Dapperton's love for music began at a young age. He started writing and recording his own songs in high school, and his passion for music led him to attend Drexel University's Music Industry program. However, he dropped out after two years to focus on his music career.
