Dave Herrero and Anne Harris are Chicago based Blues and American Roots artists that have been collaborating for over ten years. Their sound is culled from deep Chicago Blues and is steeped in Americana, Rock, Soul, Folk and Funk. This unique blend of influences, executed with incredible soul and top notch musicianship, makes this pairing a truly captivating experience. After extensive touring Dave Herrero moved to Chicago from Austin, TX and has played and recorded with a long list of artists including Gary Clark Jr., Charlie Sexton, Lazy Lester, Jimmy Burns, and Los Lobos. In addition to his own critically acclaimed LP, Herreros producer credits include recordings by artists Nikki Hill, Anne Harris, Jimmy Burns, Joey J. Saye, and Hip-Hop architects Psychodrama and Ready to name a few.He has a new side project with Cesar Rosas (of Los Lobos) called Cesar Rosas and the Chi-Town Playboys, featuring some of the best roots musicians in the Chicagoland area. Herrero also owns the music library Whoz The Boss Music, Inc., a full service music licensing company for film, TV, advertising, and games.Anne Harris is an internationally recognized fiddle player and singer-songwriter who has played countless performances in the US and abroad. She has produced six highly lauded records. Her collaborations, live and in-studio, span a large and diverse group of artists including Otis Taylor, Guy Davis, JP Soars, Jason Ricci, Cathy Richardson, Anders Osborne, and hippie legends Jefferson Starship.Harris scored and stars in The Musician, a critically acclaimed short indie film by director Mark Schimmel. The film has received over 20 honors on the film festival circuit, including Best Actress from the 2021 Chicago Indie Film Awards.She has recently embarked on a historic violin commission, becoming the first Black female violinist in the United States, to have a Black female luthier, Amanda Ewing, make her a violin. Anne also has an exciting new project with Marcus James called Halo Rider that is making waves all over the world.
